Jammbak Return Policy

This Return Policy complies with Federal Law No. 15/2020 on Consumer Protection (Article 9) and Federal Decree-Law No. 14/2023 on Trading by Modern Technological Means (Articles 7-8)

 1. General Return Window

15-day return window from delivery date for most products.

Statutory Return Period: Under Article 7 of Federal Decree-Law No. 14/2023, consumers have a statutory right to return items within three weeks (21 days) if defective, damaged, not as described, or delivery delayed beyond usability. Our 15-day window applies for change-of-mind returns; defect-related returns may be accepted up to 21 days.

  • Items marked "Final Sale" or "Clearance"
  • Return window expired

 4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect items:

  • Reporting Window: Notify us within 48 hours of delivery (for change of mind); defect claims up to 21 days under statutory rights. 
  • Requirements: Provide Order Numberphoto of damage/defect, and photo of packaging.
  • Resolution: Replacement or full refund including shipping costs.

Under UAE law, if the same defect appears three times within one year, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement. Repairs exceeding seven days require the seller to provide a temporary substitute at no cost. 

 5. The Return Process

Step 1: Initiate Return

  • Self-Service: Log in, go to "My Orders," click "Request Return"
  • Contact Support: Email happiness@jammbak.ae with order number and reason

Step 2: Receive Approval

  • Approval/rejection within 2 business days
  • If approved, receive RMA number

Step 3: Pack the Item

  • Original packaging with all accessories
  • Write RMA number clearly on package

Step 4: Ship the Item

  • Pickup: Delivery partner collects within 3-5 business days (if eligible)
  • Self-Ship: Use trackable method; keep receipt

Note: For change-of-mind returns, original shipping fees are non-refundable.

 7. Inspection and Refund Timeline

  1. Inspection (3-5 business days): Verify return conditions
  2. Approval/Rejection: If rejected, item returned at your expense
  3. Refund Processing:
    • Issued to original payment method
    • 5-7 business days for bank processing

 8. Exchanges

Direct exchanges not offered. Instead:

  1. Return original item for refund
  2. Place new order for desired item

 9. Non-Returnable Items

  • Perishable food (unless spoiled)
  • Customized/personalized products
  • Intimate apparel/swimwear (hygiene seals broken)
  • Downloadable software/digital gift cards
  • "Final Sale" items

 10. Warranty Rights

Under UAE law, warranties are legally required for goods and services. 

  • Warranties must specify coverage duration, inclusions, and exclusions
  • If a product fails during warranty, seller must repair, replace, or refund
  • Delays in repair entitle you to refund or replacement
  • If unable to return product, seller must arrange collection or send technician
